Customer calls
Your business number rings as normal. Answer it yourself whenever you can.
HowliteWorks answers
If you don't pick up, or you're on another call, your AI receptionist takes it.
The enquiry is captured
It asks the questions you'd ask: the job, the postcode, how urgent it is and when suits them.
You get the opportunity
The details reach you by text and email, and land in your diary if you take bookings. You call back, quote or turn up.
Even if a call slips through, we don't give up on the lead.
Sometimes a caller rings off before anyone answers, or the line drops. HowliteWorks follows up by text, so the enquiry doesn't disappear.

Questions, answered straight
Will customers know they're speaking to AI?
Yes. It introduces itself as an automated assistant at the start of every call and tells callers the call is recorded. We think that's the honest way to do it. Callers can still ask to speak to a person.
Can I still answer calls myself?
Yes. Your phone rings as normal. The receptionist only picks up when you don't answer or you're already on a call.
Can it book appointments?
Yes. It books straight into the calendar you already use, following the availability rules you set. If you'd rather confirm every job yourself, it takes the details and leaves the booking to you.
Can I keep my existing business number?
Yes. Your number stays the same. We set up call forwarding so the calls you don't answer go to your receptionist. Customers keep ringing the number they already know.
How much does it cost?
It depends on your call volume, how you want it set up and which plan you choose. There's a one-off setup fee and a monthly fee. We'll give you a clear quote after your demo, with no obligation. Compare the two plans.
Can I cancel?
Yes. There's a three-month minimum term, then it runs month to month and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. The full terms are in your service agreement.
See it working on calls like yours.
Book a short demo. We'll show you a receptionist set up for your trade and talk through how it would fit your day.
- No obligation, and no hard sell
- An example built around your trade
- A clear quote for setup and monthly cost afterwards
